An experienced senior executive with a focus in health care, Rodney Goodie holds a bachelor of arts in sociology from the University of Houston and a master of business administration in health care from Texas Tech University. Rodney Goodie is currently working toward his doctorate in public health with a concentration in prevention science from Emory University.
Since 1999, Mr. Goodie has overseen daily operations and directed management strategy as the chief executive officer of the St. Hope Foundation. Under his leadership, the St. Hope Foundation provides vision care, performs dental surgery, and both diagnoses and treats conditions such as diabetes, Hepatitis C, and HIV. Headquartered on the western side of Houston, Texas, this nonprofit organization provides comprehensive medical and dental services to people in need through six health centers in the city and its surrounding counties. Mr. Goodie also serves his undergraduate alma mater a board member of the University of Houston Cougar Athletic Alliance.
